1.
Zita has been sent by Dr Berkowitz (the family psychiatrist) to an equestrian therapy centre run by the charismatic councillor “White Wind Who Runs With Ferrets”. Dr Berkowitz felt that this would help her with her crippling dependency on “cuddling”. White Wind tries to encourage Zita to look on befriending the ponies as a task that would be greatly beneficial to her. ‘How ridiculous,’ thinks Zita. ‘I have no desire to cuddle a horse, they are skittish and too furry, this man must be an idiot. I am obviously cured!’ She phones her boyfriend Viper to come and pick her up immediately. The ponies shy away.

2.
Bridge is falling apart. Destinee was kidnapped one night by a band of soldiers and ever since then Bridge has been uncommunicative and has gone “native”. His ecological mercenaries who where with him - who fight not with guns but using “Harsh Words” - were powerless to help as they didn’t speak the language. They have set up camp and while the men try and think of a rescue plan, they count their blessings that at least the soldiers didn’t find the tea service!

3.
Destinee has been locked in a filthy foreign jail for days. She does not know why. No one will speak to her. She is tired, hungry and dishevelled. Her only link with the outside world is a man who hangs around outside the jail called Pedro. He is tall and swarthy and has just about the right amount of body hair. ‘I can see you are very slim,’ he says. ‘I think you must be a triple Zero, I know these things! When I give the signal, squeeze through the broken bars, I will rescue you!’ Destinee’s heart begins to race... They both watch the guard as he turns away.

4.
Detective Viper Belle is speeding down the highway to pick up Zita. He is righteously proud of his new wheels. ‘What a babe magnet’ he thinks. Tagging along is septuagenarian Dr S’No. He has wanted an introduction to Zita for quite some time as he is intrigued by her. He has insisted on driving. Viper quietly fumes. ‘He better not soil my new leather seats,’ he thinks. Dr S’No drives recklessly. ‘Zita, what a woman!’ he thinks. ‘Rich, beautiful and with a rare syndrome all wrapped into one! I must have her!’
