THE INTERVIEW
Do you think the UK is a good place to live? Why?
No matter where I am in the world, I am always glad to get home. I think the UK has a lot of things going for it. From the beautiful and varied scenery and incredible history, to the unique personality and sense of humour of the people who live here. And that truly varies from region to region and accent to accent. So much diversity in such a small group of islands!
If you were suddenly made Prime Minister what would be the first thing you would change?
I think we are living in a particularly challenging but also interesting political time. I have to say that I would make sure that the older and more vulnerable, such as those with mental health issues, were well looked after. I would do what I could to help the homeless. I would make sure that the young have a sense of hope and purpose about their futures and I would certainly do what I could to take religion out of politics. We are a multicultural society and we have to strive to live together. I don't think that any religion’s “good book’ should be part of dictating that... instead, while I believe that morals are important, I would like to see them drawn from a more logical and humanistic source.

“All my role models growing up and mostly to this day have been mainly female... so to say I have respect for the opposite sex isn't a big enough statement for me.”

What’s your favourite project you have worked on, or the one you are proudest of?
That’s a hard one. I've been lucky to have been able to work towards a lot of my dreams coming true… but in my heart, there is nothing more rewarding than creating music and performing it in front of an audience. There is no feeling like it in the world.
Who has been the greatest influence on your life?
That’s an easy one, my mother. My mom is truly a unique person. Any good traits I have, I 100% attribute to her. She is so strong willed, determined, and highly intelligent, as well as being warm-hearted and truly understanding, despite the challenges she has faced in her own life. I could not have a better role model.
If you hadn’t done what you are doing what else do you think you would have been good at? Is there another career you would have liked to have had?
I'm fascinated by how people tick. I also believe I have a great ability in looking at things differently or “outside the box" so I would love to have dabbled in psychology or philosophy.

What do you think it would be like to be the opposite sex?
All my role models growing up and mostly to this day have been mainly female... so to say I have respect for the opposite sex isn't a big enough statement for me. Whether a woman has gone on to be a CEO of a company or is a mother, both are powerful roles in their own right... and all in between. I believe the experience of being a woman will be vastly different for all, so that’s a hard question to answer, but seeing so many wonderful women around me and in the world... it would be interesting to find out!
Who, out of anyone alive or dead would you have most liked to have got to have known, not just to have met?

I got to very briefly meet Princess Diana when I was a child. To this day, I remember the glow she was emitting… her inner light and magnetism was intense. I would have loved to have gotten to know her as my adult self. I feel lucky to have had the few seconds I did!

I spent years hammering away as a DJ and musician without great success... only locally. I just don't know how I would survive, certainly without music in my life. I truly believe the key to success is self belief and perseverance!

Do you think you would have carried on doing what you do now if you hadn’t ever had any success?
"We are all unique and wonderful in our own ways, and in today’s highly advertised world, it can be easy to feel short of 'enough'. However… You are always EXACTLY enough!"

What is the most valuable piece of advice anyone has ever given you that you have actually followed?
To never try to be something or someone that you are not. I strive to always be real to what I believe, and always strive to be kind. We are all unique and wonderful in our own ways, and in today’s highly advertised world, it can be easy to feel short of "enough”. However… You are always EXACTLY enough!
Which Stephen Einhorn piece would you most like to own?
I've had the pleasure to have some bespoke things made by Stephen, one of which is even on sale in the shop (the Barbaricus ring). But he has so many wonderful things. I always had my eye on one of his trademark gold Skull rings, which I now have.

Lastly, will you tell us if you are going to be controlled by the Three-Eyed Raven in the last series of Game of Thrones? What will happen? Hello? Hello?
