New Blogger! Introducing…
Stephen Rothholz is the son of HA Rothholz, the well respected graphic artist who designed information posters for the Post Office and ROSPA between 1943 and the 1960’s.
Stephen went to the London College of Printing where he studied graphic design. He has spent the majority of his career making accessories for fashion labels, including Paul Smith, Nicole Farhi and Richard James.
When Paul Smith first opened in London, Stephen was instrumental in sourcing interesting shop fittings, objects and antiques to put in the shops to add interest.
Because of his background, he is very interested in contemporary art and design, and in particular the works of ‘outsider’ artists, including Scottie Wilson and Alfred Wallis.
We are very pleased that he will be doing regular art blogs for us.
