The Shimmering Imelda May
We were lucky enough to be invited to Ronnie Scott’s to see a showcase of this rather wonderful singer. I hadn’t seen her perform before and she was pretty amazing. Personally I’m not interested in any singers or musicians who can’t acquit themselves in a live situation, but Imelda May is the real deal. She has a depth of passion and such a self assured way that she delivers each song that she makes the hairs on the back of your neck prickle… (Well mine did, maybe I’m too hairy?) Oh and Jeff Beck joined her on stage, pretty good for a Monday night. Check out this video in which she is wearing our silver Shimmer earrings and gold small Heart necklace.
