Skull jewellery has always been a mainstay of the Stephen Einhorn collections since we launched our first skull design 31 years ago. Customers have long asked us to add to our range and so here, by popular demand, are three new, bold, beautiful skull rings to add to or start your collection.
Stephen has always had skulls as a stalwart of his collections since launching Stephen Einhorn jewellery. Drawn to their iconoclastic nature and outsider status, his first skull ring, the iconic Smiling Skull, was designed in 1995. Since then his desire to play with contemporary jewellery norms and make elegant, luxurious skull ranges has seen the launch of delicate skulls, skull and pearl designs, and carved, angular pieces.
This beautiful ring, with its delicate scattering of oak leaves, represents strength, wisdom, and knowledge. Oak trees, which have grown amongst and above humans for hundreds of years, carry with them the cultural memory of a civilisation - and that is what we wanted to represent in this beautiful design.
Skulls represent the endurance of humanity, the reminder to live a full life, and to leave an eternal mark upon the Earth. Stephen was drawn to representing the full human spirit with this complete skull - its bold facial features sculpted into this stylised design. Customisable with ruby or black sapphire eyes.
