London Pride Month 2025

When we opened our doors in 1995 we wanted to be the jewellers for our whole community. We wanted gay and lesbian couples to feel comfortable walking through our doors alongside straight couples, commemorating their love in the way that the laws at the time allowed. Knowing that jewellery is jewellery and love is love we nonetheless made a special page on our website called, at the time, ‘Gay and Lesbian Commitment.’ because we wanted to show that everyone would get a warm welcome from us.

Over the years our language has changed but our values have not. Our page remains, now called, simply: LGBTQIA+ to reflect our desire to include all - Queer, Gender Queer, Gay, Lesbian - the beautiful plethora of human existence which makes our London, our society, so vibrant.

So this year we have made an inclusive Pride bracelet to nail our colours even more firmly to the mast. We don’t make pride bracelets to cash in on rainbow-flavoured marketing, we make them because we feel pride, and we want to show our friends, our family, our neighbours, that we will always walk alongside them in the face of bigotry and hate. We make beautiful things for interesting people. All interesting people. Happy pride.

We made it our mission to create a safe haven where every single one of our customers is treated with the utmost respect, and we only hire staff who share our values.
As you squeeze your way through hordes of tourists at Piccadilly Circus, slightly hidden (mainly by bodies) is the Criterion restaurant, which I was fortun
