Our delicate and fine gold jewellery has been designed to transcend time and trends. It is a collection of modern classics that stay true to Stephen’s design signature of elegant simplicity. Each exquisite piece is lovingly handcrafted in our London workshops in solid gold with a variety of precious stones including beautiful pavé set diamonds, rubies and sapphires.
Craftsmanship – What Is Micro Pavé Setting?
The diamonds in our Micro designs have been set by our jewellers using a micro pavé technique – a highly intricate way of setting very small stones that can only be performed by the most skillful master setters.
Under a microscope and using very small hand tools each stone is placed into its setting, after which small pieces of precious metal are raised from the surface of the ring and pushed over the edge of the stone, forming the tiny beads that hold it in place.
The effect of micro pavé setting is an incredible vibrant & brilliant appearance. Over 70 micro pavé set stones are used to make our Micro Pop ring and Micro Eternity ring designs.
